Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

Great Opportunity with our growing TEAM! Central Arkansas Pediatric Clinic is a very busy, fast paced outpatient clinic located in Bryant, Arkansas. We are seeking an energetic, skilled and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join us as we strive to provide excellent care for our patients and families with an extended hours clinic Monday -Thursday 3pm-7pm. This position is ideal for an individual who wants to earn good income and strives to obtain home life balance while obtaining 20-28 hours a week.

Duties:

  • Check in child patients, evaluating their symptoms and checking their vital signs
  • Complete diagnostic tests
  • Administer medications or minor procedures
  • Create a treatment plan or coordinate follow-up medical care
  • Educate family members on treatment options
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment plans, and preventive care measures.
  • Follow infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean healthcare environment.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems.
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Organized and able to think critically and quickly.
  • Detail-oriented and compassionate with great ability to multitask.
